22 06 2016 in zuul if exception happened during filtering routing etc this exception can be logged by error filter for more details see com netflix zuul http zuulservlet currently if exception happens for example in preroute part it is not logged anywhere i propose to add simple error filter that is able to log such exceptions thanks.

the problem is that i m not able to make it work i have translated the java filter i used from the filesystem to a groovy filter and added it to cassandra using the zuulfilterdao addfilter method and activate it using zuulfilterdao setfilteractive after that i started the zuulfilterpoller to start pulling the filters from the database if it already had any.

04 08 2016 my zuul server has always been working well until i updated a dependent library then the requests no longer go through the zuul pre filter i checked the log during zuul startup the zuulfilterinitializer is contextinitialized and i don t get any additional warnings i don t think it s due to zuul config or zuul code since it worked well before.
